Howdy!
We are Bryce and Lyndy Omer. We met in Salt Lake City, Utah and were married June 21, 1976. We moved to peaceful, wide-open-country Moapa in 1981, and began building a spacious home, where we welcomed and reared 9 Children, five Darling Daughters and four Stalwart Sons. To date, we've been blessed with four Beautiful Daughters-in law, and three Gallant Sons in-law along with 17 ADORABLE Grandchildren. All of our Children live on their own in Utah, Missouri or Las Vegas, Nevada. Regular family-time events and visits keep us interacting with our group. We are loyal, lifetime members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are devoted disciples of Jesus Christ.

In 2009 we relocated down the street to the Farm property and began the Meadow Valley Farm Adventure! Thus fulfilling our Farm Mission.
To begin, we hauled over 100 tons of old, well composted, local manure from the old Hidden Valley Ranch. It took weeks and weeks and weeks of tractor and trailer work, then tractor spreading, tilling, and leveling. In the meantime, the old well needed cleaning and a new pump installed. A watering system was set up. The first Hoop House, 100 x 30, was built to house a year-round Garden full of seasonal vegetables and herbs. This Hoop House was weather beaten over and over, where we learned ways to strengthen and re-enforce it's stand-up-ness. Over time, 3 more Hoop Houses were added.
To date, in 2022, we have 5 Goats, 3 of which are milked each day, one Angus Steer for Beef, two Pigs, and two egg laying flocks of Chickens along with a few meat birds, plus our Turkey pets, Mr. Blue and Beauty. Purrrrrr-fect Kittens complete the animal family here.
Bryce is a handyman, jack of all trades, keeping the structures and tractors and equipment in good repair. He takes care of the fences and builds or fixes whatever is needed. On the side, he enjoys radio-control airplane flying, and sharing life lessons. He enjoys the occasional opportunity for a nap. He lightens things up with his 'corn’y jokes.
Lyndy creates lovely, useable, artisan and Cottage-made products with Farm crops and herbs. She likes to read uplifting classics, listen to inspiring music, write stories of her life experiences, spend time with the Family or relaxing on her fairy-garden swing.
We are a working Farm in Progress. God is growing us too!
