Autumn 2022 Begins on the Farm
The intense summer heat has passed. Tomatoes are lovingly processed in jars and carefully placed in the pantry, awaiting our future meals. Beef and Pork are processed, and fill the freezer. Attention is now turned to Fall growing.
With Spaghetti and other Squashes on ground level, Field corn and Sunflowers tower towards Heaven. New Kale, Beet, Carrot, Lettuce and Swiss Chard crops are sown. Compost, sand and mulch are shoveled through out the Garden to encourage explosive microbial growth, to allow Nature to create the ideal soil environment for plants.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT-GEORGICS
Study this life cycle chart. It is similar to the process of God’s Creation.
Did you ever read Virgil’s Poem about Georgics, where he warned his fellow Roman countrymen about the encroaching “free bread and circuses” mentality that was blinding their eyes to what was going on in their lifestyle and economy?
People wanted an “easy” life of not working hard. They moved away from their life-nurturing Farms into the cities. Let someone else do the “dirt-y” work! They moved their thinking into depending on someone else to provide for them.
To Succeed Brilliantly as God’s Garden!
In Spring, the Garden begins “soft” when the gentle weather gradually warms the soil, nudging the plants to excelerate their growth. Gusty winds and loving Breezes kindly waken the dormant trees and resting bushes. Spring continues, with BURSTING enthusiasm, renewing with Life, Hope, Joy and Love. This is God’s glorious success!
REJOICE and RING IN 2022!
Christmas Day with Our Darling Daughters-in-Law, Madison, Susie and Kara, mother of our two oldest Granddaughters Karlie and Abbie. What a time to REJOICE!
Thank the Lord for ABUNDANT AUTUMN!
Fall and winter gardening are amazing! Fewer weeds, fewer pests. Cool season crops come bounteously. Kale is a popular favorite!
Seeing God's Hand at work on the Farm!
This summer, Tassy receives the first Casaba Melon ever grown on the Farm. Weighs over 11 lbs. She is one who serves as God's hands. As children of God, and having made solemn covenants with Him, we joyfully acknowledge and accept the Farm as His generous gift to organize, utilize and share. We choose to be responsible and wise stewards of the land and the creations who reside here. Miracles appear

Faith in God + Family + Farm = Freedom
We believe we are children of Heavenly Parents, with a divine nature and eternal destiny. With faith in Jesus Christ, we have a purposeful mission to be righteous, loving individuals and good parents to our 9 children and their children. We choose to be wise stewards of the bounteous Farm for the best foods and vibrant health. In these upstanding choices, the natural consequences allow us to experience freedom, peace, hope and joy.
